ICC Child Development Center Programs

For parents and guardians, selecting a care provider for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make. At ICC Child Development Center, we pride ourselves on delivering quality care for an affordable price. We believe that all children deserve a fun and enriching child care experience and we treat every child with dignity, respect, and compassion. At ICC, we understand the busy lives of working parents and guardians, so we provide care for those long days away from your little ones. Our extensive hours of operation are from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

ICC provides a a safe and secure environment. Access to our children’s areas is limited to parents and educators only, secured by a state-of-the-art access system. Our administrative team remains observant of each classroom through a closed-circuit camera system.

The ICC Child Development Center is fully licensed under the Maryland State of Education’s Office of Childcare to teach and care for children of all ages. Infant care is available for babies beginning at six weeks old. All-day care, as well as before and after school care is available for children up to twelve-years-old. Each summer, we welcome a diverse group of children from the Frederick community to attend our weekly camps that are among the most enjoyable and affordable around.

Curriculum

We use the Creative Curriculum which is a developmentally appropriate program approved by the Maryland State Department  of Education.  This curriculum is aligned with the Maryland Model  for School Readiness and the Domains of Learning in it.  Using this framework, (which includes Math, Science, Language and Literacy, Social/Emotional, Arts, and Physical developmental objectives) , children meet goals needed to be ready for Kindergarten.

Enrollment

Making a decision about your child’s early education and care can be challenging. We want to make the process as simple as possible. To enroll at our center, please give us a call to schedule a tour. Once you have decided to join our family, we ask that you complete the enrollment forms and pay the registration fee. All required paperwork and associated fees must be completed and paid prior to the child’s start date.  ICC Child Development Center cannot accept children prior to processing of all documentation required by the state.
