ICC Child Development Center operates on weekly sessions for children ages 5-12 years old. This includes children in Kindergarten through 8th grade.
Our summer camp programs utilize the entire church facility to deliver a camp experience filled with arts and crafts, music, sports, games, cooking and a whole bunch more. In addition to the activities that take place on location, campers also enjoy swimming and a weekly field trip . Check out our trip schedule for this years field trips.
Week 1: Camp Spirit (June 18th– 22nd)
Show us your camp spirit- Show us your camp spirit through team banners, goofy hats, crazy socks, minute to win it games, contests, friendship games, wacky relays, color wars and more.
Week 2: The Chopping Block! (June 25th– June 29th)
The chopping block will encourage campers to whip up new recipes while exploring the culinary world. Our kitchen chemists will experiment with mixing different ingredients to decorate extraordinary desserts! The chopping block will encourage discovery and creativity, allowing campers to explore foods in a fun way.
Week 3: Animal Planet: (Week July 2nd – July 6th) * No camp on July 4th *
During our Animal Planet week we will lead campers through different continents to explore the wild life. Campers will adopt an animal, learn to care for it, compete in an animal relay, take on their peers in animal charades, make bird houses, and develop their own animal and habitat. We will also pay it forward thru community services and end our the week with our own animal encounters at the Zoo.
Week 4: Backyard Bash! (July 9th– 13th)
Friends, fun, and sun! —- That’s what children look forward to during the summer months! Bring your sunscreen and get ready for a week filled of activities! Enjoy the great outdoors as we partake in summertime classic games like tug-of-war, kickball, hopscotch, lawn games, nature crafts, picnics, recycling projects, s’mores, and a picnic bash to end the week.
Week 5- Aargh Matey- ( July 16th– July 20th)
Campers will set sail this week and have some pirate fun! Campers will use maps to find lost treasures, make their own treasure maps, make pirate hats/sand art, try shipwreck stew, capture the flag and survive the cannonball attack through the obstacle course.
Week 6: Space (July 23rd– July 27th)
3….2….1 BLAST OFF!!! Campers will learn about the solar system through hands on activities involving the planets, space, stars, and the moon. Campers will talk about making and trying moon rocks and launching our very own rockets. We will finish the week looking at stars and taking a special trip to the planetarium.
Week 7: Olympics (July 30th– August 3rd)
Join us as well kick-off the Olympic Games which will push the campers to new heights as they conquer the physical challenge of friendly completion. From relay races to potato sack races, campers will learn about athletic all-stars along with traits of noble sportsmanship. We will head out to a baseball game in the middle of the week and enjoy some water fun as well.
Week 8: Decades of Fun! (August 6th– August 10th)
Let’s rock out in neon colors, side ponytails, and make some old record players- we are going back in time! Travel back with us to days of root beer floats, Wild West days with a gold rush, explore caveman drawings, have a dinosaur egg hunt, relive the hippie days and have our very own disco. We will end the week with a trip to the roller rink!
Week 9: ICC’s Got Talent!!! (August 13th– August 17th)
Calling all superstars- Step into the spotlight and showcase your talents through skits, games, dance, music and so much more. Campers will spend the week developing a talent show for the ICC Child Development Center. Our judges will determine which camper’s have the next “Best thing”.
Week 10: Water Water Everywhere (August 20th– 24th)
After a, hopefully, hot summer, it’s time to cool off! Water week has everything you need for fun in the sun. Get ready for water games, sprinklers, group competitions and our giant water sensory play table. What would water week be without a trip to get soaking wet!
Week 11: STEM!!! (August 27th– August 31st)
Unleash your child’s imagination this summer! Welcome to the world of amazing experiments and cool activities that make you say WOW! STEAM is critical for the future. The world needs critical thinkers, doers, and problem solvers. STEAM creates inventors, innovators, and leaders. White coats on – beakers in hand – here we go!
Even though school is out for the day, children still need to be engaged in a comfortable, stimulating and fun environment. Each day your child will be able to choose from many activities offered after they complete their homework. Our dedicated staff is ready to help with homework, lead a arts/ craft activity and/participate in a large group game. We offer both full-time and part time before and after school care.
Transportation is provided to the following schools
